          Basically the concepts of buying Real Estate in Alberta or British Columbia are the same, it is the process that is different.  For instance, in Alberta, both the Buyer's and Seller's Lawyer play an equal role, whereas in British Columbia, the Buyer's Lawyer prepares all the documents and controls the whole registration process.  There is also the Property Transfer Tax.
